While In The Bus

Inside the bus, sitting here

Music and noises I hear

People are in silence

But there are thoughts inside us

Sleeping, playing with their phones

Staring at the window, and alone

And then there's my seatmate

Reviewing for some academic stuff

She's bumbing her head to the window

I think she's stressesd, I don't know

I think because she's already late

Or because of her studies

Whatever the girl feels

It's normal, stress kills

Stress will try to eat people

It's a demon in disguise

Some are strong

Some are weak

Some are invisible

Some are opaque

There are people smiling

But inside, they're dying

There are people crying

But they have lots of grace to rejoice for

Humans are humans

They will never be satisfied

They will always find a problem

They will always overthink

Inside the bus sitting here

In the middle of silence, voices I hear

Thoughts running in my mind

On my way to school to grind
